About this camp

The Women in STEM Virtual High School Summer Engineering Experience (SEE) is a two-month virtual program designed for rising 10th through 12th-grade high school students. Participants explore various engineering majors offered at UT Austin through hands-on engineering design challenges, engaging with role models, and video content highlighting different engineering fields and career paths. The program includes weekly informational newsletters focusing on specific engineering departments, virtual tours, student panels, and showcases of engineering professionals. Students also participate in weekly live 'Role Model Monday Webinars' with alums, current students, and corporate partners who share their STEM experiences. Two asynchronous engineering design challenges are completed each month, with final products shared via video for feedback from community reviewers. The program culminates in an end-of-camp celebration with a design challenge showcase and a UT Austin admissions presentation.

What a typical day looks like
